Every year we support The World Conker Championships at Ashton near Oundle.They do a fantastic job raising money for Visually Impaired charities.We raised £550 pounds this year which we will be donating to their charities

GERMAN CONNECTIONS


Some years ago Egon and Marie Theres Hess came from Germany to give a talk and tasting from their vineyard on in the Mosel Valley.Return visits have also been to their vineyard in Bruttig Fankel which is just across the River Mosel from Cochem. Whilst vising them they kindly arranged for us to visit and tour the famous Bitburger Brewery where members were invivted to sample up to 5 litres of beer EACH!

The family Hess- Becker speak and understand english very well, so language is not a problem.
